Focused on Strong, Reliable IT Support
We exist to give businesses the confidence that their systems are protected, monitored, and supported by a team committed to strong security and fast, consistent help.

Why Simputers Works Differently
Simputers was built around a straightforward observation: businesses deserve better than waiting hours or days for support, receiving unexplained bills and discovering ageing technology only when it fails. Owners should know who is handling an issue, why an investment is needed and what lies ahead.
That belief shaped our approach as a Technology Success Provider. Instead of relying on a cycle of faults and fixes, we work through four connected pillars: Standards, Alignment, Impact and Strategy. Regular alignment reviews identify gaps, Monthly Business Reviews turn findings into decisions, and a 12-month roadmap helps each client plan priorities and budgets.
Every managed client works with a Technology Alignment Manager and virtual CIO. Together, they connect day-to-day technical decisions with the organisation’s wider plans while keeping security, backups, licensing and infrastructure visible. Our written Service Level Agreements also set published response targets, with performance reviewed each month.
Simputers is an owner-led local business serving organisations across Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire. Our TruMethods TruPeer membership supports our structured operating model, while our Kaseya and Datto partnership contributes to the technology behind our managed services. We also work to Cyber Essentials standards and help clients prepare for and maintain Cyber Essentials.
What Guides the Way We Work
Our operating principles are reflected in the conversations, reviews and decisions clients experience.
Standards Before Guesswork
We assess technology against defined standards rather than relying on assumptions. This creates a consistent basis for identifying gaps and prioritising improvements.
Alignment Through Regular Review
A Technology Alignment Manager reviews each client’s environment on a regular cycle. Findings remain visible and can be addressed before they develop into larger operational problems.
Business Impact in Plain English
Technical recommendations should explain the business reason behind the investment. We discuss risk, cost and operational impact without unnecessary jargon.
Strategy That Looks Ahead
A virtual CIO leads Monthly Business Reviews and maintains a 12-month roadmap and budget. This keeps technology decisions connected to the client’s business plan.
Move Beyond Reactive IT Support
